Dropping-off and Picking-Up:
Dropping-off or picking-up according to the appointment hours scheduled, allows us to give you the proper amount of time to speak with you and give a report of your pet’s stay at Pine Creek Pet Resort, we ask that you please arrive 15 minutes prior to closing.

As sole-proprietors we must operate on a tight schedule, our evenings are extremely limited therefore cannot make any evening exceptions.

We are available approximately 99% of the time, however at times you may catch us while we are out walking dogs, having dinner, etc., if we miss your call, please be patient. Scheduling a tour of the facility with yourself and your pet, gives everyone a chance to meet and become familiar.

* Tip: Get your suitcases out a week before going away. Yes, most of our pets know that suitcases mean a change in routine and this will give them some time to get used to it.

Also, withhold food four hours prior to bringing your pet to board, and four hours after you return home.

Food:
Bring your pet's food along. Label the container with their name and feeding instructions to ensure your pet will receive the proper food and amount.

Vaccination & Boarding:
YOU MUST TALK DIRECTLY WITH YOUR VETERINARIAN.  He or she knows YOUR INDIVIDUAL PET. They will recommend the best vaccination schedule for your pet based on the particular vaccines they use and their experience.

In order to protect all of your boarding pets, Pine Creek Pet Resort will only accept pets for boarding that are on a vaccine schedule recommended by your particular veterinarian. In lieu of a particular vaccine your veterinarian will provide a certificate of health to allow your pet for boarding.

PLEASE FOLKS, GIVE YOUR PET THE TIME HE NEEDS TO DEVELOP THE IMMUNITIES THE VACCINATIONS ARE MEANT TO GIVE THEM. MAKE YOUR VETERINARIANS APPOINTMENTS PREFERABLY ONE MONTH PRIOR TO YOUR PETS BOARDING STAY. TWO WEEKS MINIMUM.

Vaccination Requirements:
We believe all animals are individuals and should be treated as thus. Therefore, we will accept your veterinarians' assessment of what vaccinations your pet should have, in order to board at our Pet Resort.

You will need to bring in proof that your pet has had each of the vaccinations listed below, to be accepted for boarding. See your veterinarian for the required schedule for each vaccination.

Please help us keep our Pet Resort safe and virus-free!

If your pet is due for any of their vaccinations please remember to take them a MINIMUM of two weeks PRIOR to boarding, preferably one month ahead. Vaccines are, generally, modified or live viruses that can shed off (modify itself) for a period of time after it has been given.

In order to protect all of "our" (your) canine family members we must turn away any pets for boarding that were given their vaccines within seven days prior to boarding, unless we have an isolated area available, (there is a surcharge for this service as it creates extra work).

Please always inform your vet that you will be boarding your pet during your vet visits. Ask your veterinarian to provide proof of vaccination and/or health certificate for your boarding visit.

If your veterinarian feels that it is not in the best interest of your pet’s health (Geriatric dogs, pets battling illnesses, etc.) to be vaccinated, exceptions may be made with your veterinarian’s recommendations. In lieu of standard vaccinations, a note from your veterinarian along with a health certificate will be accepted. For those of you whom are raising your pets holistically, a vaccine titer test is acceptable.

In the best interest of maintaining a healthy environment for all our guests ~ Pine Creek Pet Resort reserves the right to decline our services, if your pet exhibits signs of illness. ~

Unspayed Females:
Females in heat are not accepted for boarding as it severely disrupts our daily schedule. Females that come into heat while boarding will be subject to a $30 daily surcharge.
