do you have to offer that another boarding kennel or pet-sitter does
not?

regular social interaction with our trained staff of dog and cat
lovers. Your pets will enjoy lodging in a bright, safe engaging

Does
my pet need vaccinations to enjoy vacation time at Pine Creek Pet
Resort?
YES.
All pets must be up to
date on vaccinations per your veterinarians’ and/or holistic
health care providers recommendations and state laws. Rabies shots
are required for all animals. Canine Core Vaccines and Bordatella
for dogs, FVRCP and Leukemia for cats according to your chosen
health care methods.
IMPORTANT
INFORMATION! …
Maintaining the health and
welfare of each and every one of our guests is as important to us as
it is to you and your family member!
Our boarding protocols are
designed to protect all of our pets’ health and wellness.
If your pets’
vaccinations are due please remember to call your pet health care
provider for an appointment well in advance of their vacation. This
will allow ample time to accommodate their office schedule and most
importantly ample time for your pets’ immunities to build.
While modified live
viruses may provide quicker immunity they also risk shedding,
therefore in the event that you cannot have your pets’ required
vaccines up to date a minimum of 7 days before their vacation
please call us.
We will check availability
of an isolated area for your pets’ lodging. Your pet will still
enjoy plenty all regular routines and amenities chosen.
Your pets become our
friends. Their various antics, personalities, love and challenges
give all of us so much back in our lives.
Provide shot records:
You must bring in a copy
of your pets up to date vaccinations and/or a health certificate
from your veterinarian or holistic health care provider.

More
Ideally your pets should
be vaccinated one month prior to boarding. This will allow time for
immunities to build time and stress to work it’s way out.
If you have an emergency
give us a call and we will discuss your pets’ situation. In most
cases we can work out a solution.
If your pet care provider
feels that it is not in the best interest of your pets’ health
(Geriatric dogs, pets battling illnesses, etc.) to be vaccinated,
please have them give us a call.
Those familiar with our protocols can supply a certificate of
health in lieu of current vaccination protocol.
We accept vaccine titer
test results with listed levels and recommendations of protection.
In the best interest of
maintaining a healthy environment for all our guests, we reserve the
right to decline our services if your pet exhibits signs of illness.
Do I provide Flea &
Tick Prevention?
Yes. All pets must be on a
flea and tick prevention program or holistic regimen. This is a
country kennel and we go outside daily.
What about Parasite
control?
Most vets would strongly
encourage your pet be wormed once a year. Worming regularly is
highly beneficial to your pets health! Your veterinarian can provide
you with the appropriate medicine or there are homeopathics
available for those pets raised holistically.

Why
do I pay a Daily rate even when I pick up during the am or almost
mid-day?
Pine Creek Pet Resort provides an incredible value for your most
precious family members. We are dedicated to providing your pet with
the best care, loving attention, exercise and basic manners training
every day and night they lodge with us.
Compare prices, our rates
are a terrific value with all of the benefits included in even our
standard prices!
What is included in the
standard price of boarding?
All dogs are offered taken
outside four times per day into our spacious fenced in yards.
Cats, being such independent individuals, are offered the
opportunity to roam the cat room twice a day.
Most pet care facilities
do not offer such an involved schedule as a standard daily practice.
George and I decided from
the conception of this idea that we would offer the kind of service
and attention that we provide for our own pets. The schedule we
follow is very demanding, but it really works well for your pets. It
allows us to provide service above and beyond the normal standards
and the results show. Ask your veterinarian about us.
How
long does my pet get to play outside during their standard outings?
Outings generally range
from 5 to 15 minutes
Exactly how much time your
dog is out is directly related to the needs of your pet. For
example; 2 year old “Boone” is high energy and requires much
exercise so he will be out longer than 14 year old “Gizmo” who
is much more interested in a short walk to take care of business.

young age it is vital to you and your pet that the correct habits
